Skype Calls Using Your Regular, Mobile, or Any Remote Phone

 

Like the USB-RJ11 Skype Adapter, the Skype Gateway lets you make and receive Skype calls using your regular or cordless phone. Continue using the same phone for landline calls as you normally do. 

 

The Skype Gateway also lets you make and receive Skype calls from any remote phone, anywhere in the world.

 

1. Forward Skype Calls to Your Remote Phone

When you receive a Skype call, the Gateway rings your home phone. After a specified number of rings, the incoming Skype call is forwarded to your remote phone number(such as your mobile phone). This way, you never miss a Skype call, even when you're away from home, or away from a computer.

 

2. Make Skype Calls from Any Remote Phone

You can also make Skype calls from any remote phone, even when you are away from your computer. 

 

For example, from your mobile phone you would dial your home phone number, where the Skype Gateway is connected. Your home phone rings and works as usual. But when you dial your Gateway's PIN code, you will be switched to Skype calling mode.  Now you can dial a Skype contact or SkypeOut call from your mobile phone!
