Refuse Skype call when Skype talking
If you are on a Skype call and receive another incoming Skype call:

Unchecked: Skype will alert you of the second incoming call as usual. You can then choose to put the current call on hold and switch to second caller.
Checked: The second incoming call will be refused. This would be useful if you are on a cordless phone, away from your computer, and unable to see the caller's ID and to switch between calls.
Device Option Tab
Display Skype window when calling
Checked: Skype window will pop up when you switch to Skype mode, and will close when you hang up or switch to landline mode. Unchecked, the Skype window will always stay closed(minimized). This is useful if you are using your phone's keypad to make and receive calls and otherwise operate Skype, and don't need or want the Skype window to pop up for every Skype call.
When Using Skype, set PSTN line to busy

When you are on a Skype call and receive an incoming landline(PSTN) call...
If checked, the caller will hear a busy tone. If unchecked, the caller will hear your phone ring as long as you are on the Skype call. If you have a voice mail account set up with your landine phone company, it may be useful to unckeck this option(letting the landline ring). This way, the caller will be able to leave a message on your landline voicemail service.
Adaptor default channel: PSTN or USB
This determines the calling mode you're in when you pick up the phone.
PSTN: You will be in landline mode when you pick up the phone. You will hear your regular dial tone and can simply dial a landline call as you normally would. (Or press * to switch to Skype mode).
USB: You will be in Skype calling mode when you pick up the phone. This is useful if you want to use a regular phone to make and receive only Skype calls. With USB selected, you won't need to press * to initiate Skype calling mode.
The USB Phone Adapter's default setting is PSTN mode. This is likely the most common preference, because the phone will be in its normal (and familiar) landline mode whenever it is picked up.
Note: A phone connected to the adapter will ring for both regular landline and Skype calls, whether you have set adaptor default channel as PSTN or USB. Just pick up the phone to answer as you normally would.
