Upgrading Skype on USB-P1M Skype Memory Phone

To upgrade to a newer version of Skype on the USB Memory Phone, simply replace the Skype.exe file on the Memory Phone's flash drive with a newer version of Skype.exe.

 

Skype version 1.4 through Skype version 3.0 are portable applications, which means they can be run from a flash memory drive, on a PC without being installed on the PC.

 

If you have installed a new Skype version on a PC that you want to install on the Memory Phone, copy:

 

C:\Program Files\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe to F:\SkypePhone\

where F: is the volume letter of your Memory Phone.

 

If you don't already have a hard-drive installation of the newer Skype version, download the new version, install it on your PC, then copy Skype.exe from your hard drive to the Memory Phone as above.
