AU-600 VoIP Gateway - Installation Guide

DO NOT CONNECT THE AU-600 VOIP GATEWAY TO YOUR COMPUTER UNTIL INSTRUCTED TO DO SO BY THE AU-600 INSTALLATION WIZARD

Download the current AU-600 Driver:

AU600-SKYPE-V1.40.07SL01_SL3800.zip Released 1/30/07

The current AU-600 driver supports Skype 3.0 and Windows Vista. We recommend downloading the current version for all users.

In this installation example we will unzip the folder to hard drive top level C:\

This creates a folder on hard drive C:\AU600-SKYPE-V1.40.07SL01_SL3800, open this folder and run Setup.exe

Installation will begin:

Welcome to the USB VoIP Personal Gateway Setup Wizard. Click Next.

Click Accept to continue.

We use default installation setting, click Next.

Click Install. "Installation may take a several minutes"...

Click Finish.

Now connect the AU-600 Gateway to your computer.

When connected, the following Windows New Hardware Found Wizard will appear:

Select Install from a list or specific location and press the Next button.

Check "Include this location in the search" and use the predefined location. Click Next.

Click finish when prompted with the following:

You will be prompted with another Windows New Hardware Found Wizard, this time for "VoIP Audio Device". Like before, select Install from a list or specific location and press the Next button.

Again, keep the preset location and click Next.

When you see the following screen, press the Continue Anyway button.

Click finish when prompted with the following:

When the installation completes you should see the following message appear
near your system tray and a new telephone icon (circled in red below) in your system tray:

The yellow telephone icon indicates that the VoIP Agent is installed and running and that you
can start making calls via Skype and the USB Gateway.
